Mixing time honoured Welsh sounds with something new, The Hostels arrived in 2017.
Made up of Ethan Cronin, Euan Cronin, Ethan Sweet and Flynn Cox, the band formed in school over their love of anthemic choruses and riffs. Influenced by the likes of Oasis, Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes, The Hostels released their debut EP “<a href="spotify:album:1aNw3o4bZEej747DIzNdqN" data-name="Reset">Reset</a> ” in 2021 accumulating over 16K total streams.
Frontman Ethan Cronin has also noted that early 2000’s British sitcoms like The Inbetweeners and Skins and their respective soundtracks influenced the bands sound.
Since forming, the band have played many gigs in many grassroots music venues across South Wales, most notably The Moon - Cardiff, The Bunkhouse - Swansea and Clwb Y Bont - Pontypridd.
