Coming straight out of Loughor, South Wales, is multi-talented musician & 2025 Welsh Music Prize longlistee Karl Ian James aka The K.I.J Experience. He writes and produces beautifully layered 3 minute pop songs about love, death, escapism and everything else in between. With a musical style that pays homage to the baroque pop of the 1960's with a splash of acid / garage rock for good measure. His music features a blend of organ, guitar, and string riffs that create a dynamic listening experience. Despite being a solo project, The K.I.J Experience masterfully crafts sounds that give the illusion of a full band performance, showcasing his versatility and musical prowess. His songs currently feature on Amazing Radio, Breaking Sound Radio, & Radio Wigwam playlists.
