Initially comprising of frontman Joe Cocker and George Wilson, songwriting their teenage years away, the burgeoning musicians were joined by cousins Ethan Bennett on drums and Ben Cooke on bass. With this lineup, The Kites were formed, and began to play their first shows. Bursting onto the Plymouth scene, the band received a very warm reception, scoring them a headliner just a few short months after their first appearance.
Inspired by their local success, the four hit the studio to record. Growing an audience through records and festival appearances across the UK and sharpened into a well-oiled machine of sound and feel through consistent gigging, The Kites are at their best - a thrilling, raucous, and youthful re-interpretation of rock bliss.
We're thrilled to announce our EP, About Time, our debut EP. Available on all platforms we could think of. Hope you love it as much as Joe loves drink.
