A Swedish doom metal outfit that incorporates elements of folk and hard rock into their epic sound, the Order of Israfel was founded in 2012 by Tom Sutton (ex-<a href="spotify:artist:48oiffaUrQHZXzfvr5aO1L">Church of Misery</a>) and Patrik Andersson Winberg (ex-Doomdogs), Hans Lilja, and Staffan Björck. Based out of the metal mecca that is Gothenburg, the band's impressive doom pedigree quickly landed them a deal with <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Napalm+Records%22">Napalm Records</a>, who issued their impressive debut, Wisdom, in 2014.
