A supergroup of sorts, the Rides are a blues-rock group consisting of <a href="spotify:artist:4WlSvDKaq1PA2Nr7cCIPxX">Stephen Stills</a>, formerly of <a href="spotify:artist:3eskO5m0H4yiF64vRySBjr">Buffalo Springfield</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2pdvghEHZJtgSXZ7cvNLou">Crosby, Stills & Nash</a> (and <a href="spotify:artist:6v8FB84lnmJs434UJf2Mrm">Young</a>), and <a href="spotify:artist:75vKPpImuKHbtBFV9T7Ygz">Manassas</a>; <a href="spotify:artist:1ZgAaa9V4Uy5IqW95mIBGm">Barry Goldberg</a>, formerly a member of <a href="spotify:artist:6qyfxCyE6JsPkcGVIOPpyl">Electric Flag</a>, and guitar wiz <a href="spotify:artist:1riHqX633Kup3mJAw8WR8p">Kenny Wayne Shepherd</a>. The trio's first album, Can't Get Enough, was released in the summer of 2013 and was modeled on the 1968 album Super Session, which both <a href="spotify:artist:4WlSvDKaq1PA2Nr7cCIPxX">Stills</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:1ZgAaa9V4Uy5IqW95mIBGm">Goldberg</a> played on along with the late guitarist <a href="spotify:artist:0yT9vbP1EOnCpl2McnF9nH">Mike Bloomfield</a>. Buoyed by the success of their debut album, <a href="spotify:artist:4WlSvDKaq1PA2Nr7cCIPxX">Stills</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1ZgAaa9V4Uy5IqW95mIBGm">Goldberg</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:1riHqX633Kup3mJAw8WR8p">Shepherd</a> returned to the studios to record their follow-up, Pierced Arrow. The album appeared in May 2016. ~ Steve Leggett, Rovi
