Found somewhere between the reverb-soaked guitar sounds of <a href="spotify:artist:03hfAxVdAWj7kxDnSG0fLD" data-name="The Shadows">The Shadows</a> and the vast and evocative spirit of Sergio Leone’s 'Spaghetti Westerns', The Slims transpose the adventures of a gunslinger onto the city’s urban landscape.
After a slew of singles, the band released their debut EP in February 2024. The release spent a month in the Top 10 of the AMRAP Metro Charts, as the gospel spread through radio stations all over Australia. In the flesh, The Slims hosted a sold-out launch at the iconic Lansdowne Hotel in Sydney, played at the Oxford Art Factory's 17th Birthday Party and made an appearance at the Woodford Folk Festival.
Now, The Slims are returning with their new single 'Pleasure Club'. Named after the prolific Sydney venue, the song is the first single from their upcoming sophomore EP, which is due for release in April 2025.
