The Spirituals were formed in 2020 by Creative Director, Junior Garr, and Arranger/Conductor, Marsha Morrison. Their unique sonic arrangements reimagined spiritual anthems around justice and freedom. The filming of the Black History Project was a viral music expression along with the release of 2 EPs and performed at the renowned Lambeth Palace and St. Paul's Cathedral. Their song "Wade in the Water" has millions of YouTube views, which has paved the way for future projects. The Spirituals hosted their Christmas Concert at Union Chapel in 2022 and gained multi awards status with three best choir awards by June 2023.” The Spirituals 2023 tour, supported by international charity Christian Aid, featured at churches across the UK, Greenbelt Festival with a pack out show finale at KOKO London.
