The Subtle Madness (also referred to as TSM) is an American Rock band from Dallas, led by frontman Matt Butler (vocalist/songwriter/producer/multi-instrumentalist). The Subtle Madness recently released their new album, <a href="spotify:album:2lQjI0JBwUnYPfjqzaIlK7" data-name="Zero-Sum">Zero-Sum</a>, written and recorded over the span of five years, coinciding with a turmultous time in the life of the band's founder.
Originally formed in Central Texas circa 2017, The Subtle Madness recorded a debut EP, Predisposed, intended to be released the following year, but it was ultimately shelved due to lineup changes & other setbacks halting the group's progress.
The release of Zero-Sum has marked new momentum for The Subtle Madness, beginning with an all-new lineup, and word that there will be a collective music & multi-media art project to be unveiled soon before a string of upcoming live dates in early 2025.
