the vowels they orbit (also known as “the VTO”) was the first band to sign with Sony Music Philippines upon the label's return to the country in 2019. Their breakthrough debut single, "Selos," peaked at #2 on the Spotify Philippines Viral 50 chart and became part of the soundtrack for the viral web series, “Gaya Sa Pelikula.” They have also opened for the international act, Against the Current, and performed at major festivals such as Rakrakan Festival and UP Fair.
In 2020, they released their acclaimed debut EP, “ang unang ikot,” a collection of songs that explores the cycle of young love, followed by their second EP, “tuloy tuloy tuloy!” in 2023.
In 2025, they released their third EP, "gusto ko lang maalala", which features the singles "para bago" and “miss na kita.” They continue to draw inspiration from their favorite bands—The Cardigans, The Cranberries, and Moonstar88—and explore themes of nostalgia and matters of the heart, with their authentic and relatable sound.
