The Woodgies are Irish sisters, Hannah and Meghan Woodger, whose acoustic music blends indie-pop and folk with the innate warmth and intimacy only sibling bands can hope to achieve.
Based in Switzerland, they first rose to prominence when their debut album Holding Hands won the Montreux Jazz Festival’s Coup de Cœur award.
Since then, they’ve reached millions online with their heartfelt songs performed acappella with natural reverb (their cover of the cranberries Dreams has 13 Million views), they’ve toured across Europe and beyond, shared stages with artists like Ye Vagabonds and Kids of Adelaide, and with a new EP on the horizon, produced in Dublin by John “Spud” Murphy (Lankum, Ye Vagabonds), The Woodgies continue to captivate audiences with a sound shaped as much by Irish tradition as their Swiss upbringing. The Woodgies are carving out a space that feels both timeless and distinctly their own.
