Importing the vintage of <a href="spotify:artist:2g3PKH7Z1Ofn5oGR6oDjLy">the Sonics</a>, the Wailers, <a href="spotify:artist:4BFMTELQyWJU1SwqcXMBm3">the Stooges</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0BNTrhhkZLsbcWAidMz98A">the Chocolate Watchband</a> to the native of Helsinki, Finland, the all-girl combo of Thee Ultra Bimboos' romp of '60s trash rock debuted in 1994. With the 1996 EP releases of Absolutely Fabulous and We Can Go On Together With Suspicious Minds, the quartet was placed amongst other Finish garage acts such as <a href="spotify:artist:5NRQpL6c1anlSLNuD6KT4v">the Flaming Sideburns</a>, the Bomber, and the Hypnomen, amongst others. Following a handful of tours across the European continent, Twang! Records contributed to Thee Ultra Bimboos' first full-length, Supremess, in 1997.
