The musical project of Chris Jones, These Brittle Bones is back with a new sound. Having been publishing music since the release of his 2012 single, ‘Flecks’, Jones’ musical career has evolved from the folk origins of his Singapore-based youth, to the ambient-electronic instrumentalism of his current London-based twenties. 2023 will see the release of six new singles, all written throughout the pandemic years, which explore the expressive possibilities of wordlessness - ironic given his role as an English teacher for one of the UK's top schools - in a sonic mode inspired by the instrumental works of neo-classical, atmospheric, and electronic composition.
