There was only one Tina Turner. There will forever be only one Tina Turner. But as an artist, a pioneer, an actress, a breaker of racial barriers, a cultural entity, Tina and her talent live on – in multiple guises and multiple ways. After the artist’s passing in 2023 at the age of 83, the Queen of Rock ’n’ Roll reigns supreme, still.

Tina was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice: with Ike in ‘91 and then 30 years later as a solo artist. Her 12 Grammys include a Lifetime Achievement Award & 3 Grammy Hall of Fame inductions. She also became the first solo artist to have UK top 40 singles over 7 decades. Her multi-generational following continues to add to Tina’s legacy & to career record sales in excess of 100m records.

After 7 world tours, Tina had performed to a combined audience of 18m people worldwide. Yet stage musical Tina is still packing in audiences around the world, playing to over 3m theatre goers to date.

And talk about a unique, superstar talent with forever status, built over half a century of artistry & drive. When Tina passed, the outpouring of grief – from collaborators, celebrity admirers & fans the world over – was immense. One of the all-time greats of music, of culture, had left us. And yet in her music, triumphs, in her refusal to be beaten or back down, Tina is still with us: a beacon of hope, aspiration & artistry.
