Tokyo Wanderer started in 2015 with Nuno Cruz - a portuguese bass player, producer and university student; currently affiliated with Future Society Collective, Neoncity Records, Nightfall Collective, Sleepless Tapes and Coraspect Records. In 2019, João Miguel became the official live guitarrist for Tokyo Wanderer, after many collaborations and a live debut show in Toronto (Aessential). This project's style started with future funk and chillwave; but now, it's influences range from R&B to industrial rock, and even jazz funk to shoegaze.
