Tolulope Ogunmefun is an award-winning actor and much-loved comedian in Britain’s Black community. Since going viral as comedy figure Don’t Jealous Me in 2008, he has built up a dedicated and loyal following.

He has amassed over 41 million views online. In addition, he boasts a whopping 350,000 Instagram followers, over 170,000 YouTube subscribers and more than 60,000 Twitter followers.

Alongside this grassroots support, the star was selected to feature in Idris Elba’s directorial feature debut Yardie. He also currently stars in Netflix hit Man Like Mobeen.

He has been awarded the prestigious Screen Nation and BEFFTA (Black Entertainment Film Fashion TV and Arts) awards.



The star has toured as a comedian in both the US and the UK.

He has been featured in Sky series Sick Note, TV series Venus vs. Mars, series Drifters, and Meet the Adebanjo’s a Nigerian comedy show that Netflix has acquired.

He has also worked with Humza Arshad, known for the viral Diary of a Badman internet series.

Born and raised in Hackney, East London, Ogunmefun enjoyed a brief basketball career in the States. He now resides with his wife and daughter and works on a range of exciting creative projects.
