Tomidrey

Nigerian, LA-based recording artist, producer and sound engineer Oluwatomi Owoeye Agbedavies fondly known as Tomidrey. Recognized for playing bass for Davido during his Lockedup tour sometime in 2018 and combining carefully crafted melodies with teasing harmonies with his Bass guitar on covers of various hit songs.

He grew up in Ibadan, in a little community called Felele, Oyo state from a family of 4 with an older brother who is a professional Disc jockey. Influenced by the diverse and maverick likes of Michael Jackson, Craig David, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, Lagbaja, Richard Bona, Wande Coal, 9ice, 2baba, Don jazzy, Sarz ,Yinka Ayefele,Joe, Lemar, 50 cent and Fally Pupa.


Tomidrey’s passion for music started way before his college days at the age of 13, as a bass player in Nigeria, incorporating the elements of African music, afrobeats and soul. He regularly recorded songs and experimented with various fusion of afrobeat sounds that reflects the ingeniousness and dexterity of the african music style.

Fast-forward to this day, with over 20 music production credits under his belt, Tomidrey has worked with Davido, Teni, Fireboydml, Sinzu, Nonso Amadi, Yungsix, Kiddominant , Sinzu, Kubla khan, Todi, Kaylan Arnold and Olamide. He has won the hearts of his growing music lovers with his experimental sounds and video of cover samples.
Tomidrey is currently on an impressive run and continues to push his creative boundaries in the Nigerian music scene one musical note at a time.
