Tommy Baynen

Tommi Lahtinen aka <a href="spotify:artist:40sCzHBhogbGAHtHtr0YnB" data-name="Tommy Baynen">Tommy Baynen</a> is an electronic music producer from Finland. He was interested in music at the early age and started to take classical guitar lessons at the age of 8. At the end of 90s he fell in love with trance music when he heard acts like <a href="spotify:artist:7jZM5w05mGhw6wTB1okhD9" data-name="ATB">ATB</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2ZpwFriFFPaGFC4qYQQJ1i" data-name="System F">System F</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5GxyeQagayzZOg4UwffQlD" data-name="Chicane">Chicane</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:64MoFdq8ORI3V98AR5SPWL" data-name="BT">BT</a>. He signed his first official EP to Finity Recordings in 2009. His track “Blue Morning” was picked up by <a href="spotify:artist:10gzBoINW3cLJfZUka8Zoe" data-name="Above &amp; Beyond">Above &amp; Beyond</a> and was played in their weekly podcast. They included it in their Beatport top 10 chart also.

In 2013 after several of successful trance productions like “<a href="spotify:track:0yVzZWgQXxd73c5VeOH91R" data-name="An Ocean Without Water - Original Mix">An Ocean Without Water - Original Mix</a>” and support from top jocks like <a href="spotify:artist:0SfsnGyD8FpIN4U4WCkBZ5" data-name="Armin van Buuren">Armin van Buuren</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1xT5p0VBpnZDrvVSjX9sri" data-name="Dash Berlin">Dash Berlin</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7wU1naftD3lNq7rNsiDvOR" data-name="Paul van Dyk">Paul van Dyk</a> he decided to change his sound. His track “<a href="spotify:track:0WvPKvSMgsbIZJTRdbb81O" data-name="TomB Raider - Original Mix">TomB Raider - Original Mix</a>” was instantly picked up by <a href="spotify:artist:521qvhdobR0GzhvU6TFw76" data-name="Tritonal">Tritonal</a> and they included it in their &#34;<a href="spotify:album:5MUvLEG2znA3JSRfUQ2czS" data-name="Tritonia - Chapter 001">Tritonia - Chapter 001</a>&#34; compilation.

After a couple of years of silence and contemplation on the dance music scene, he made his comeback in 2019 with the track &#34;<a href="spotify:track:0oPUvIZJ1LDNP3lzzE8Wvv" data-name="Effervescence">Effervescence</a>&#34; which was released on &#34;Colorize pres. <a href="spotify:album:0n2QULhpm9u9GoTSSJja7i" data-name="Colorscapes Volume One">Colorscapes Volume One</a> mixed by <a href="spotify:artist:1XgI1X3xjXCKRP1ZjhqgkV" data-name="Matt Fax">Matt Fax</a> &amp; <a href="spotify:artist:3p7y4jD6cIfONGyx6xaFik" data-name="Dezza">Dezza</a>&#34;. Today, his style has become more relaxed, and he has established himself in the playlists of top DJs such as <a href="spotify:artist:27gtK7m9vYwCyJ04zz0kIb" data-name="Lane 8">Lane 8</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7rgcAsQrCXfkQ4c7T0qF4n" data-name="PRAANA">PRAANA</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:14Tg9FvbNismPR1PJHxRau" data-name="Sultan &#43; Shepard">Sultan &#43; Shepard</a> to name a few.
