New single "Love It!" out July 29!
TATJ are an indie psychedelic folk punk alternative garage hard rock and roll headphone music band that coagulated in Las Vegas, NV in early 2012. Released on 12/22/12 their critically acclaimed first album There Was Lightning is a catchy exploration through many styles of guitar rock. Starting with punk influenced "Dig This!" and ending with psychedelic noise mess "Superslow," all of your rock and roll bases are covered.
Following hundreds of shows, a vinyl release on Plane Groovy Records(a label that also features Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members The Zombies), indie/college radio play for 9/10 Lightning tracks, and opening slots for notable/influential artists, 2nd album Take You to Stay was released 10/01/17. Stay is an experimental departure for the band in several ways features many different instruments than its predecessor, new member John Fallon (of The Steppes) on bass, and was recorded/improvised mostly at Joe's. It contains songs the band previously debuted at concerts: keyboard jam "Squares," catchy jangle-rocker "Well as Well" psych head-nodder "Gotta Run" as well as in-studio experiments such as teeth-grinding "Breaking Bones," eerie instrumental "Meteors" and "Take You to Stay" featuring Barnaby Gallagher on sitar. 2020 saw the release of single "Anywhile" and EP "Get It!" which gained the band its first SiriusXM play and more spins around the world. The band is currently continuously recording impending albums.
