Tripp Todd & The Slightly Odd is a rising alternative rock band blending classic songwriting with a modern indie pop edge. With echoes of The Beatles, Elvis Presley, and Paul Simon woven into the textures of Stephen Sanchez, The Backseat Lovers, and Ben Folds Five, the band delivers a sound both nostalgic and fresh.

Formed at Belmont University in Nashville, the group began with vocalist/guitarist Tripp Todd joining forces with Alex Snyder (keys) and Kyle Clark (lead guitar). They quickly connected over their shared musical sensibilities, later rounding out the lineup with Henry Crane (drums) and Isaac Hallal (bass).

Built on deep friendship and instrumental chops, the band’s chemistry shines in their dynamic live shows, which have earned them a devoted following and praise from Nashville tastemakers—including Grammy-winning songwriter Marv Green, who produced their first session at Sony Tree Studios.

Their debut single, “Broken Minds,” is a modern spin on a 1950s love ballad—capturing the tension of new love haunted by old heartbreak.

Winners of The Coliseum’s Battle of the Bands, the group is back in the studio, continuing to build momentum as one of Nashville’s most exciting new acts.
