<a href="spotify:artist:0WEUmP3DPtJIexlk4JoVmP" data-name="Truth &amp; Tragedy">Truth &amp; Tragedy</a> are a 5-piece post-hardcore band formed in September 2020 in Bamberg, Germany.

Truth &amp; Tragedy take inspiration in their music from many alternative genres, and use lived-experiences and current cultural issues to charge their lyrics. Their debut album ‘Innocence Abandoned’ (2021) deals heavily with themes of trauma, substance abuse and alienation, stemming from their singer’s own experiences serving with the US Army, sent to fight the war in Afghanistan as a teen.

In 2022, Truth &amp; Tragedy released their single and music video ‘Kelvin’s Not A Rockstar Yet’, their tongue-in-cheek tribute to <a href="spotify:artist:3jOstUTkEu2JkjvRdBA5Gu" data-name="Weezer">Weezer</a>&#39;s ‘Beverley Hills’ and <a href="spotify:artist:6deZN1bslXzeGvOLaLMOIF" data-name="Nickelback">Nickelback</a>&#39;s ‘Rockstar’. Their following EP ‘Blood on Blood’ (2022) is a return to their heavier roots, through which Truth &amp; Tragedy explore the duality of their music; the darkness of their track ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ in dealing with the attempted suicide of a brother, and the light of ‘Neo’, their guitarist’s sweet tribute to the birth of his son. Their last EP of 2022 &#39;On the Law of Nature&#39; incorporated heavy metalcore influences, and is a bleak exploration of the darkness of the human condition.

&#39;Take it to Your Grave&#39; is their lates single to be followed by the upcoming single &#34;Blight&#34;
