English musicians Tyler and Mark have both played guitar since their teens and met when they studied at university. Mark, the son of a doctor, studied medicine and used to get some extra pocket money by playing guitar at a local pub for a singer who had "sing-along" evenings on the weekends. Tyler studied computer science and usually went home to his family during the weekends, but in the autumn of 2015, he went with some friends from his class to the pub where Mark played.
During the evening they were introduced by a common friend and started talking music. They quickly found that they both liked the guitar work of the singer-songwriters of the 70s, like Simon & Garfunkel, James Taylor and Stephen Bishop. After a couple of weeks, Tyler joined the sing-along evenings, and they soon started making instrumental cover versions with their guitars during what were supposed to be their breaks. When the audience started asking if they had a record with their own interpretations of popular songs, they decided to record a number of songs in a studio and post it for streaming so that anyone could listen.
That’s how the story began - and still continues!
