UNMUTE started out as a group of four like-minded individuals collaborating together on a shared love of music. Through the years, the band has grown to what it is now.
Mainly taking influence from the genres of psychedelic rock, post rock, and shoegaze, the band produces a sound that is distinctly melancholic with grungy, bittersweet tones against a smooth smoky backdrop provided by several techniques rooted in jazz, another source of inspiration for the band.
