Filipino alternative psychedelic indie rock band forged in 2023. Our name powerfully symbolizes our roots, blending "vac" (a nod to our birthplace, Cavite, "etiVAC" reversed) with "slide" (a tribute to the province's dramatic topography). We embody the spirit of Cavite, merging the high-energy resilience of the uplands with the grounded depth of the lowlands. Our vocalist hails from the elevated highlands, while our bass guitarist and drummer emerge from the plains, creating a unique harmony of elevation and earthiness. Cavite, known as the cradle of the Philippine Revolution, infuses our music with a revolutionary spirit and a deep sense of national pride. Our sound is a rebellious celebration of Filipino heritage and the diverse landscapes of our homeland, marking us as a band of both badass ingenuity and patriotic fervour.
