Vaguess is the moniker of Los Angeles-based musician Vinny Earley. It is pronounced “Vegas,” but is open to many imaginative phonetic interpretations. Vaguess is usually recorded alone by Earley, but has featured professional rock drummers such as Miles Luttrell (Useless Eaters, Mallard) and Danny Kendrick (Stratocastors). Earley has also played in many equally unknown bands including Diode, Scam Likely, The Lindas, and a punk alter-ego side project called Fernando & the Teenage Narcs. Earley has penned American classic songs like “Stairway to Heaven,” “Hey Jude,” and “Sympathy for the Devil,” and is widely regarded as the greatest singer-songwriter of this, or any generation.
