VASARI is a extreme metal band from Lohja, Finland. The band blends aggressive elements typical of black and death metal with melodic and symphonic components. Lyrical themes encompass occultism, mythology, history, horror and overall story telling. VASARI was forged in 2022 when Nuutti Viljakainen (lead vocals) and Matias Nästi (drums) recorded the band’s debut album ‘Horrors Lay Rest For This World’ in Saariselkä, Lapland. The band is known for its controversial and theatrical live performances and also vampiric/gothic aesthetics.
