DJ and producer Pablo Vásquez, known as Vaskular, has been manufacturing innovative sounds from the depths of South American electronic music for more than a decade. Since his beginnings with Colectivo Etéreo, one of the most unprejudiced hip-hop groups emerged from Santiago, or in his work as co-founder of Discos Pegaos, a label that since 2011 has refreshed the electronic scene in Chile, Vaskular has opted for eclecticism and musical breadth, effortlessly avoiding all kinds of labels.
Among his production work, we can find the album Ijniaaa !!!! (2007) by Colectivo Etéreo, Tótem EP, which opened the Discos Pegaos catalog in 2011, or the intense EP Desastre (2017), where his mastery of rhythm becomes evident. He has also contributed with single tracks to outstanding compilations of his usual labels (Cómeme and DP), such as “Black Jesus”, “Meta” or “Ah Ah Ah” revealing a strong ability to settle with ease and personality in the language of club music.
As for his work as a dj, it is well known Vaskular’s capability to surprise in all kinds of clubs thanks to his broad mind and expertise, achieving a meeting point between tradition and avant-garde.
