Fiyahdred is a South London-born artist and producer redefining UK club music with a sound deeply rooted in Hip-Hop, R&B, Rare Grooves, Grime, House, and Reggae. Their journey began at six with beatboxing, leading to music production by ten, shaped by a home filled with rhythm and melody.
After gaining recognition in the UK funky scene through self-released tracks and Boiler Room sets, they reintroduced themselves as Fiyahdred—embracing a new creative evolution.
In 2021, they made their Hyperdub debut with Anyway, an EP blending deep bass, syncopated grooves, and hypnotic melodies. Their music bridges UK funky, house, Afro-electronic, and Caribbean sounds, honoring the legacy of Black and queer pioneers in dance music while forging new sonic territory.
Expanding their vision, Fiyahdred launched Wildfiyah, a label dedicated to forward-thinking percussive club sounds. Its first official release, @Saturn Return, captures the shifts and transformation of their Saturn return moment, alongside Wildfiyah Presents: Ember - The Extended Mix Series, an exploration of their sonic influences.
With a distinctive sound, high-energy sets, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of dance music, Fiyahdred continues to carve out space for the next era of club music innovators.
