Veana Elikplim Acolatse, better known as Veana Negasi is a fast-rising Afrobeat and Afropop artist from Ghana.
Veana Negasi's extensive musical knowledge is the result of a lot of time spent learning the ins of the industry. She cites Beyoncé and the late Michael Jackson as two of her biggest musical inspirations. Veana Negasi has decided to make it her life's work to become one of Ghana's most successful musicians.
She began her career as a cover vocalist, and her rendition of Kuami Eugene's "Wish Me Well" became a viral hit on YouTube. The cover series was her initiation into fame. After spending several years working in the cover singing industry, she began working at Lynx Entertainment, working closely with the label’s CEO, She then went on to host 3 tunes, a showbiz show on Tv3, a subsidiary of Ghanaian media giant, Media General for over a year.
She released her first single, "Get Down," in August 2022, and her second single, "Hol' me." in February 2023. After spending several late nights and early mornings in the studio, she finally released her debut EP, titled "No Apologies," in August 2023.
