In 2017, Houston's Velveteen Echo started as a one-off music video project that became the first iteration of a dreamy four-piece indie rock band. After a pair of EPs, a regional tour, and a mood-drenched music video for “Atoms,” Velveteen Echo has released their first full-length album, Mirrors/Myths. Recorded with local legend Steve Christensen (Khruangbin, Steve Earle), the new material is a peek behind the curtain into a kaleidoscope of feelings.
