Their critically acclaimed and popular albums featured in the top 10 of the US Jazz and World music charts. French Canadian vocalist Lynn Véronneau, and British guitarist Ken Avis have been building an ever-growing international fan-base through their music streaming and tours in the US, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, UK and Sweden.
Based in the Washington DC area, VERONNEAU have played many prestigious venues such as the Kennedy Center, as well as being regulars at the legendary Blues Alley, and DC Jazz Festival. In the UK the band have appeared multiple times performing live and interviewing on BBC radio, and in Canada on CBC.
Their new album release "Blue Tapestry” celebrates Joni Mitchell & Carole King, and their iconic albums “Blue” and “Tapestry”, re-imagining the classic songs which made those albums so artistically and commercially successful, recognized as two of the most successful albums of the 20th Century. It’s a special project for VERONNEAU, taking them into the folk genre with jazz sensibilities, finding the space between the notes and the pulse of the human heart.
