Melodic hardcore outfit Vessels formed in Kitsap County, Washington, in 2011. The original lineup -- centered around guitarist Matthew and drummer Jeremiah Perry -- issued its debut EP, Ghosts, in 2012. Conflict.Resolve followed the next year. After switching vocalists from Cory Lee to Kylen Reed, they issued a third EP, the pummeling Miles from Here, in 2015. Guitarist Nick Nietfield and bassist Michael Flannick also parted ways with Vessels, replaced by Garrett Coble and Chad Martin, respectively. The quintet signed with <a href="spotify:search:label%3A%22Innerstrength+Records%22">Innerstrength Records</a> soon after and began recording their label debut.
