Veuve

VEUVE is a Heavy Psych/Stoner Rock power trio formed in Pordenone, Italy, in 2013. The band combines Kyuss-inspired heavy riffing with clean, dreamy, and evocative passages, starting their path in the Heavy Rock and fuzz-oriented genre. Over the years, they continued to release more music, embracing Prog-rock, psychedelic soundscapes, and Post-rock influences. They draw inspiration from bands such as Elder, All Them Witches, and Motorpsycho.

The outfit debuted with a self-titled EP (2015 self-released) featuring their authentic fuzz-focused early songs. Their first full-length Yard (2016 Acid Cosmonaut / The Smoking Goat Records) collected a broader range of sounds, incorporating more psychedelic and Post-rock elements. Fathom (2019, Argonauta Records) is their sophomore record, delving deeper into a musical quest with a more progressive approach to songwriting while keeping their Heavy Rock style. In 2024, they have signed to Go Down Records with their third studio album.

Veuve shared the stage with bands like Naxatras, Stoned Jesus, 1000mods, Monkey3, and many others.
