From an early age, Vicente Álamo demonstrated a profound connection with the piano. At just six years old, he began studying independently and soon enrolled at the Music School of the Adolfo Marsillach Theater in Madrid, where his formal musical training began.

He later pursued advanced studies in Composition and Orchestration for Film and Television at Berklee College of Music and the European Academy of Fine Arts, developing a personal musical language rooted in the classical tradition and contemporary symphonic writing.

Over the years, Álamo has composed an extensive repertoire for piano and symphony orchestra. His decision to fully embrace a professional musical career led him to bring to light compositions that had remained in his personal archives.

His Suite No. 1 was recorded with the Philharmonia Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London, marking an important stage in his development as a symphonic composer.

Álamo’s music has received several international awards for classical composition, alongside a nomination for Best Original Score by the Spanish Academy of Music.

Most recently, he returned to Abbey Road Studios to record his Piano Concerto No. 1, “Persephone” with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Conceived in four movements, Persephone represents one of his most ambitious and personal works to date, further establishing Álamo’s growing presence in contemporary classical music.
