Vigro Deep is a South African DJ and producer from Atteridgeville, Pretoria, and one of amapiano’s most distinctive innovators. Born Kamogelo Phetla, he grew up surrounded by music through his father, DJ Spring of The Godfathers of Deep House SA, before carving out his own lane with a darker, more explosive take on piano.
Breaking through as a teenager with early records like “Black Power” and “Untold Stories,” Vigro Deep became known for thunderous log drums, sharp synths, deep-house influence and high-energy builds.
