Village Idiots is a Boston based alternative rock project started as The Paul Rutley Experiment in 2022, and recently rebranded with the goal to embrace absurdism and finding the beauty in chaos . Seamlessly mixing the aesthetics and soundscapes of alternative rock and funk, Village Idiots bring a truly unique experience to listeners. Village Idiots has played a variety of shows in the Boston area, but they are just getting started with their journey. Their debut single “St. Petersburg” (linked in listen now) released May 3rd.
