Vintage Lounge Orchestra is an act of great depth filled with sunset overtones, ethereal undertones and groovy vibes that combine a myriad of cultural influences. This is the result of the sensibility of Mario Puccioni aka Mari-One, brother of Francesco Puccioni (Mike Francis).
Produced with an excellent music team involving musicians and singers of the highest level, the project started out as an instant success with the albums Chapter One (2012) and Chapter Two (2013), a fascinating journey into down-tempo, lounge and chill reimaginations of the most famous hits of all time.
All filtered through the taste of musicians Aidan Zammit and Pino Iodice together with the talented voices invited aboard: Wendy Lewis, Laura Serra, Daniele Vit, Alessandro Pitoni, and more.
The refined arrangements and the perfect meeting of different styles put their records at the top end of its genre, up there with the best selling compilations and playlists all over the world.
In 2024, Vintage Lounge Orchestra conceived the Ultimate Collection collecting their best selling titles - with remixes by Frankie Knuckles & Eric Kupper as Director’s Cut (Dreams), Larse (George Porgy), and The Him (Lotta Love) included. In the same year, the prolific Chris Coco conceived a remix package of their Wild World version performed by Laura Serra - an inspirational, vibrating and emotive breeze that caresses your soul.
On first hearing, word has got round that their records are gems.
