Southampton based quintet Dissonants have been making strides in the alternative rock & metal scene. The band have built a reputation for high energy and intense live shows, alongside catchy riffs and soaring melodies, making them one of the countries most exciting up and coming artists.

The band released their third EP <a href="spotify:album:7EyRLi6iBBnBVfHPyymmTf" data-name="Nescient">Nescient</a> in 2020, which saw them added to Spotify playlists <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DWXIcbzpLauPS" data-name="The Core">The Core</a>, <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DX0cZz7nWHy0s" data-name="Metal UK">Metal UK</a> and <a href="spotify:playlist:37i9dQZF1DXdiUbJTV2anj" data-name="New Blood">New Blood</a>, with the latter making them cover artists for the release of lead single <a href="spotify:album:767gERMqaV0Wrz7msP6PzP" data-name="Silence and Glass">Silence and Glass</a>.

Following the departure of long standing vocalist Reece Hayton, guitarist Benjie Allen stepped up to fill vocal duties, ushering in a new era for Dissonants.

The release of 2022 singles <a href="spotify:track:6Xj6CZ8kBtIDo1cDfwOl5U" data-name="Harlequin">Harlequin</a> and <a href="spotify:track:0CRCnH9eDRGs7Iq3d5HBs1" data-name="Grave Mind">Grave Mind</a> showed the band maturing, having the confidence to try new ideas and blend genres like they’d never done before, producing their best work to date.
