V.O.T.G started in 2015 after group founder/member Lil Silent’s release from a long stint in the prison system. Lil Silent was already locally underground rapping in his neighborhood in the 90’s before going to jail in 1998. Soon after his release in 2015, Lil Silent & his nephews formed the V.O.T.G group & began releasing countless tracks, mixtapes & videos. These tracks & videos generated a buzz & fan base that loved the raw & grittiness of their lyrics & videos.
