Based in Beirut (Lebanon), Waynick is the musical project of two childhood friends, Sara Abdo and Joe Kazan.
Their first single “Carolina” received critical acclaim and heavy radio play and streaming around Lebanon and the MENA region. Their debut EP “Before I Leave” and subsequent singles expand the band’s songwriting as they explore themes of cultural dissonance, and self-discovery. Meticulously crafted yet simple melodies, their music evokes a journey of imminent nostalgia coupled with gentle musical arrangements and an unapologetic tinge of pop.
