Liverpool's indie pop-rock outfit, We Were Glue, formed in 2016. Known for their down to earth stage presence and fun-loving songs, the charming lads ‘just want to play the festivals and maybe Soccer AM'.
Likened to Two Door Cinema Club, The Smiths and The Strokes, the foursome skilfully collate their influences, offering the listener a gentle boost in their stride with tongue and cheek lyrics and rousing pop melodies. We Were Glue have enjoyed slots on Spotify's The Indie List and Hot New Bands, support from BBC introducing, as well as sets at Sound City Festival and some of Liverpool's most esteemed venues. Their new single, Stuck in Love, recorded with Mark Morrow (Vistas, Mt Doubt) will be released on Valentine’s Day.
This foursome might not be one for the big indie scrapheap for a change, there’s a wee spark in the eye that suggests ‘We’ve got something here – keep tuning in‘. – We Close Tonight
