White Fang is an experimental rock band formed in Portland, Oregon in 2005 by the then-teenage Rikky Gage (of <a href="spotify:artist:6Faoj5h2jMC1mqhGlqmyWb" data-name="Free Weed">Free Weed</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4sGXRKVt3jXcqjUCRuK67C" data-name="The Memories">The Memories</a>) and friends while in high school. They’re notable for forming the Gnar Tapes label, under which they released their numerous DIY recordings as well as documented the prolific solo careers of its core members, friends, and penpals during the very early days of social media. They are notorious for their hyper, irreverent live performances, having toured extensively throughout North America and Europe throughout the majority of the 2010’s.
