"White Room return with the swaggering and infectious "Shoot"" Line Of Best Fit.
Enter the White Room and explore a sonically tangled reverie, filled with sharp, groove laden sounds, majestic melodies and evocative lyrics.
The latter half of 2017 saw Brighton quintet White Room release their conceptually charged double EP “Eight” to much acclaim, and play the double EP in it’s entirety, to sold out crowds across the UK followed by their biggest headline shows to date in spring 2018, which cemented their reputation for visceral, energetic and theatrical live performances.
After a summer immersed in writing, developing and recording new material, they hit the road again supporting The Blinders, and released “Shoot" the first of two home-recorded follow up singles to ”Eight”.
“Bleeding” is the second single from the home recorded session, co produced by Jake Smallwood and local producer Theo Verney. The two singles were recorded over two days at home, largely live and with a stripped back set up, with the intention of capturing the gritty intensity of the band’s live performance; they represent a step towards a bolder, tighter, sharper sound, and a new step in the musical progression of the band.
White Room are Jake Smallwood (vocals/mellotron/synth) Jacob Newman (guitar/vocals) Tristan Sava (synth/organ/guitar) Josie McNamara (bass/bass synth/vocals) Hen Sava (drums).
