William Cas is a Los Angeles-based composer and multi-instrumentalist who explores presence, awareness and the art of deep listening. Coming from a lineage of musicians, Cas moved through bands, orchestras and a wide range of contemporary practices before finding his own voice in minimal, reflective composition. A period of injury in his early twenties reshaped his approach, leading him toward meditation and slow, attentive movement, practices that now anchor his creative life.
Much of his music is recorded in the stillness of night, where piano, tuned percussion and subtle synths blend into intentional, curiosity-led experiments. Influenced by minimalism and the emotional clarity of pop, William Cas creates fragments of sound that invite listeners into a deeper, present state of being.
