Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet

The Wojtek Mazolewski Quintet (WMQ) is back with a refreshed lineup and a brand-new full-length album, "Beautiful People", set for release in October 2024. This eagerly awaited album will be distributed worldwide in collaboration with !K7.
Recorded in December 2023 at Polish Radio's S4 Studio, the album followed a series of successful concerts by the WMQ last fall. Energized by the warm reception in numerous cities and driven by a desire to explore new sounds, the Quintet recorded "Beautiful People" at full throttle.
"Beautiful People" is a soulful venture into the realm of contemporary spiritual jazz while staying true to WMQ's identity and Slavic roots. The new material is infused with fresh energy, innovative soundscapes, and refined compositions that showcase the band's evolving artistry.
