Met through their mutual friends, Nazim & Faiq first wrote & produced songs on their own. Then, they decided they could create something special alongside other band members. Hence, the creation of Wolgaja, which became a mysterious name for a band, successfully captured the curiosity of their audience.
Wolgaja released their first single “Walk The Talk” in 2018 and continued to release their second single “Lightbulb” in September 2019. In November 2019, Wolgaja performed their first live show in Kuala Lumpur. They were opening for Fur Live in Kuala Lumpur, The Lost Valley Gathering, Janda Baik, and a few more shows around Klang Valley.
The band released their self-titled EP “Wolgaja” on 11th November 2020. The EP consists of 6 tracks that are available in all digital platforms and physical CD format as well. Due to COVID-19 and other life challenges during that time, major plans for the band were put to a halt, and the band was on hiatus until late 2023.
Back with a new vocalist, Zikry, and a new drummer, Kingsley. Wolgaja will be releasing more materials coming soon!
