Worm Hero is a queer cybergrind band fronted by Opalescent "Opie" O'Coinn (F.K.A "Xandra Shitquark") - we fight cruelty with cruelty and violence with violence.
Our members currently include Opie O'Coinn on vocals and guitars, Brother O'Fulchy (of Juno Who) on electronics, and the Cymru A.I. Morgan Allen Jones on drums. Opie has had many of its friends join it in both writing and performing throughout the years including Chelsey Dykes (F.K.A Countess Chellibal), Jack Mayo (F.K.A Dildwuar Esquire), Dave Basnett (F.K.A D.A.V.R.O.S/P'Romy Fierce, who also now drums for Krupskaya).
Together they have toured up and down the country spreading their stink in the walls of some great venues such as:
The Cobblestones in Somerset
The Exchange, and The Gryphon in Bristol
Outpost and Jimmy's in Liverpool
Wharf Chambers and Santiago's in Leeds
The Akedo in Lincoln
Legends Bar in Edinburgh, Scotland
The Rebellion, the Peer Hat, and Old Pint Pot in Manchester and Salford
and locally the best venues for original music: The Rigger, Artisan Tap, and Captain's Bar in Stoke-on-Trent.
They've toured with bands such as Lure In and Vicarage, played festivals like Balter Festival 2023 in South Wales, Southwest Heavyfest 2023 in Somerset, Love Day 2022 - 2024 in Manchester and are ready to once again threaten Earthbound Souls with death rays and meatgrinders.
"He is love and he is hatred. Worm Hero! Eat it up!"
