Xavier Fux is one of Mexico's top DJs and producers. During his career of over 30 years, he has moved with perfect ease through three completely different styles and genres of electronic music: House, Trance, and Chill/Dub.
Xavier’s project, Vatos Locos, alongside Celli Firmi and Nick Doof, broke into the Psy Trance scene with force in 2002. They recorded two albums for Sony Music and Dragonfly as well as numerous releases on labels such as Spun, Nano, and TIP Records. Since 2006, Xavier has a radio show called radio Zulu which airs in Ibiza’s premiere radio station www.ibizasonica.com every Tuesday at noon.
As a DJ, he was resident at KM5 in Ibiza from 2010-2014, and has also played numerous times at Space, Amnesia, Pacha, Privilege, Bora Bora, Cafe del Mar, and all over the world in countries such as Denmark, Germany, Holland, Spain, UK, Japan, Israel, Egypt, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Canada in the best festivals and clubs. His downbeat Label Zulu Lounge released 9 compilations out of which Mar Y Tierra reached the top 10 in the European and Japanese charts.
Xavier is back in the studio after a 5 year parenting hiatus and his recent work can be found on labels such as Sounds of Earth (Mexico), Beat Boutique (Israel), and Rezongar Records (Argentina). His single “Plantas Sagradas” was a big hit in the Tulum and Ibiza dancefloors.
He is part of the Pareidolia Music Dj Roster having played with them in Ibiza and Tulum.
