Desmond Badu, known by his stage name Y.B Hustle, is a successful rapper from Antwerp with Ghanaian roots. He started making music at a young age, inspired by his older brother. When his brother had to go to prison at the age of 16, Y.B. decided to take his music seriously to make him proud. He wanted to show his brother how hard he had worked when he would be released.
Y.B. Hustle delivers contemporary rap with influences from the West Coast, but with a unique twist that gives the style a fresh perspective. He has performed at various festivals, including Reuzenstoet, Kerkstraat Plage, and Divercity. After his "Drinks On Me" EP, released in October last year, he is now working on a new personal project.
