Pop music scum, born and raised in Albany, NY and based in Brooklyn. Yelnats. (yes, the period is part of the name) began in a basement with songwriter Ian Dorset and producer Nick Cavin collaborating to create the debut EP "On an Old Friend's Couch, Half-Asleep." The EP took off when the opening track "Sympathy" went viral on Tiktok, bringing the unique blend of pop, hip-hop, emo, and alt-rock to a wider fanbase. The latest single "O.K." was released in October 2020. Like the EP that came before it, it's music that will make you sad, but also maybe dance.
