It started when Yoga was surfing & working in a tattoo studio.Sometimes he’d play his guitar out on the street outside of his tattoo studio.He wasn't expecting people to get so excited to hear his music because he was always playing old school punk rock and pop punk.
In 2015,Yoga decided to stop working in the tattoo industry & focused on playing his guitar & creating music, at the beach and busking on the streets of Bali.Yoga could often be found walking & carrying his guitar around Kuta, Bali,and around the Poppies II area,with his spikey hair, Dickies pants & sweatbands.When he would go to the beach,he would play songs from some punk rock Bands; Sum 41, Blink 182, MXPX, Unwritten Law,Fenix*TX,Gob,etc..
Over time,he got a lot of attention from tourists from around the world.They’d take his video and they’d sit around,drinking beer together.Yoga made a lot of friends with people from around the world.Some bars would ask him to play,but to play other styles of music,but Yoga always stayed true to his passion & would only sing punk rock, saying “I play what I want, not what they want”.
In 2017, people started to recognise Yoga from his videos going viral across social media in Indonesia. He was invited to perform at a lot of different venues, that have the same passions in music as he does,
In 2024,he began to record his own songs, using limited tools & by borrowing a bass from his friends,to create his EP.
